We took our campers to a local park (Valley Forge). We walk down by the creek and took all kids exploring tools. Strainers, cat scoopers, frisbees, sand box tools and more. We turned over rocks to see what was under them. Then used the scoopers to drain out the water to investigate. Kids loved it. All tools bought at the dollar store.
