Hug Tag
All the players get up and walk around (nowhere specifically) and one of the leaders is the caller. It is the callers job to create categories. They'll say "Get in a group of (any #) with people that have _________! Example: "Get in a group if 3 people that were born in the same month!" The kids then have to find 2 other people who were born in the same month as them. This game is great for breaking the ice, because kids have to get really close, they can't just "link arms" because if someone doesn't have a group they can "steal" someone who isn't latched on very tight. If they can't find a group, or they don't have enough people, they are out.The game continues until there are only a few people left.
