Take sterdy paper cups & have the kids paint/ draw any design that resemble a bug or they can make a bug up. Using pipe cleaner slowly puncture through the cup for legs & antenas. Also use googley eyes (or other crafts like small colorful cotton balls) as body parts like eyes nose etc.
