your stix are your fingers. if a had with onely one finger (person a) hits a hand with 1 finger (person b) the person who got hit (person b )now has 2 fingers. now the person with 2 fingers(person b) can hit a person with the hand of 1 finger or the hand with 2 fingers. suppose person b hits person c's hand with 2 fingers now the person c has 3 fingers and so on. if someone gets 5 fingers his/her hand is out. but if they have another hand still in play they play with that hand. if you have 3 fingers and someone hits you with 4 fingers you now have 2 fingers
